*Please pass the word about our reunion to your network of USC GHS Girls especially if we don't have them in our network. Thanks so much.
The best way to ensure a higher attendance to our reunion is by expanding our network---further than we already have. Add to it, a touch of personalized invitation and of course, the sincere desire to know how our batchmates are.
In my case, I was looking for Claire Gardones in particular---who was just hidden somewhere in the Friendster accounts of USC Girls who were not in my network. The last time I was in touch with Claire, was way back the summer after our graduation. That time, we were writing to each other while she was home in Bukidnon and I was home in Cebu City. Our correspondence ended that summer and life rolled by so fast. I never knew she went to Velez College! And...that's only few blocks from USC Main where I was...not to mention, it's just in the same city! So, imagine my surprise and joy that she's in Brooklyn, NYC! Wow. I did not expect that.
We decided to meet yesterday in St. Francis of Assisi church at 31st Street, near Madison Square (really...I have this conviction that USC Girls are spiritual). It was surreal! The last time was we were in highschool...and here we are... 13 years have passed... but as if it was just yesterday...coz the last day we met in high school simply connects itself to our now...and bam!--she's exactly the Claire that I knew then, and I'm the Oliva she calls Bai---but only with a longer hair!
So, here are the pictures that affirms my strong conviction that our reunion is worth all the time, effort and money we put into it: *grin*

In 34th Street near Macys.
Sbarro for dinner in 7th Avenue across Madison Square.
Ahh yes...I've convinced Claire to sponsor a door prize & that we'll do a videoclip together...and that to be able to find and feel loved is a priceless experience she should not forego without having. *wink*
